Why Racism is Everywhere

Today, racism seems to be everywhere, at least according to SJWs. We're told we live in a system of white supremacy. When they are not sipping on a Starbucks latte, eating a burrito bowl, or texting on their IPhone — we're told they are modern day slaves. The reason why racism seems to be at epidemic proportions today is because the definition has changed. At one time, racism was defined as 'the superiority and inferiority of races.' This definition could apply to anyone, however, in the past racism came mainly from whites to non-whites during the era of real white supremacy.

Traditional examples of racism were slavery, lynchings, Jim Crow, racial epithets, eugenics, etc. Today, those things, for the most part, are gone. Since the most overt forms of racism have vanished, the definition of racism had to undergo a re-tooling. Today, the social justice re-definition of racism is "prejudice plus power" and the only people with power are whites. The argument goes that non-whites don't have the power to discriminate against white people, therefore, the only ones who can be racist are white people. However, as Thomas Sowell stated, "power is relative by definition."

If you ask Tim Wise, can a black political official be racist in a black African country, he'll say no, because somewhere in the world there are white people with more power than him. So, even when the terms of the definition are fulfilled, the goalpost is moved. Racism is now micro-aggressions, cultural appropriation, white privilege, etc. These ideas aren't new, but they weren't mainstream, until today. The definition of racism is so nuanced and academic racism can appear to be everywhere and every white person is guilty of it. For instance, if you ask someone "where are you from?", that would be regarded as a micro-aggression because you are trying to suggest a non-white person is not a true American. It couldn't be that you heard an accent or the person made a statement that suggested they might not be from here. Instead, it has to be your inner-Klansman creeping out.

The Progressive Left is So Hypocritical

It is truly mind-numbing and mind-blowing how the progressive left celebrates and defends terrorists, but wants historic statues removed because of the historical figure's 19th century views. Check out this video.

Deray Mckesson is Not Wrong Because He's Gay...He's Just Wrong

I agree with the premise of the video, which is, one should not discriminate based on sexual orientation. Although, I disagree with Black Lives Matter's Deray Mckesson's political views. I don't think that he should be dissed because he's gay. What I don't like is the "fighting for our freedom" and the overall BLM victimology, and it reeks from this video.
