When all the facts are in and they show that Kenneka Jenkins reached her demise because she got too drunk and high resulting in poor decisions, will the black community admit they were wrong? Will the protests for answers stop after answers have been given? This is similar to Black Lives Matter wherein many black people created false narratives out of thin air, reacted with outrage before the investigation was complete, then claimed the police lied or tampered with evidence when the facts contradicted their narrative. This is a problem called "victimology". Victimology is the practice of claiming victimization disproportionate to actual experiences of victimization. The reason why this happens is because we as a society are not being honest with the black community. The fear of being called a racist or sellout overrides our commitment to truth.
If you didn't know, it is racist to use black emojis, gifs, and memes. Apparently, every image of a black person must be the most positive image, because every individual black person represents the whole race . Anything that shows a black person in a less than ingratiating light (i.e. being human) must be disregarded. According to this video, using black emojis is cultural appropriation. Apparently, black people have a copyright on brown skin, so how dare you post that brown thumbs up emoji! To be clear, it is cultural appropriation whenever non-blacks use an element of black culture, but it is not when black people "borrow" various cultures' music, clothes, and sacred traditions in hiphop. The same person screaming cultural appropriation will bump Wu-Tang with a tattoo of Chinese characters on their neck while cooking Mexican food with a Redskins jersey on.
